Melissa Flanagan focuses her practice on real estate development representing developers and investors in affordable housing development and financing, including bond-financed, low-income housing tax credit, HUD, USDA and FHA projects. Ms. Flanagan formerly was the Closing Portfolio Manager at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency where she supervised the Agency’s loan closing portfolio of bond-financed projects, tax credit projects, and special needs projects as well as prepayments/transfers of ownership, HUD-financed Section 236, Section 202, and Section 8 projects, workouts of troubled projects, and preservation refinancings.
